...and a leetle part of me is secretly hoping the ultrasound tech makes a mistake and uses an identifying pronoun on Thursday at the ultrasound. Eeek!
Yay have fun! I can't decide how to vote yet. Hmmm. Also I think most techs tells you before they start "I always used the male pronoun when talking about the baby" or vice versa. The anatomy scan is fun because you get to look at the baby for along time but it's kinda nerve wracking because in our experience, the techs aren't allowed to say a lot about the babies parts while they are doing the scan. They will be like "That is the spine" but they usually can't say "It looks totally fine and perfect!" because of legal stuff. So mostly they are really quiet which was a little bit freaky. At the end they say "From what I see everything looks normal but we can't make any total guarantees". Then the doc comes in and does all the same stuff and says basically the same thing. Just wanted to share that with you so you aren't wondering why they aren't saying much. But maybe yours will be totally different, who knows! Have fun!
