Family Day

Dear Columbus,

Thanks for, you know, existing and exploring and sailing on the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria and all. Because today we get to spend the day snuggling as a family thanks to the US Government's arbitrary assignment of today as a day to celebrate all your accomplishments.

Husband, snuggly baby, dog who can't ever get enough love and I all appreciate it as we welcome Fall in the best way ever - hanging in pajamas and loving on each other. With soup. And cinnamon rolls. And cocoa.
