On a lighter note...

One of my favorite stores of all.time. is Francesca's Collections.

I fell in love with it while I traveled as a professional sorority girl a few years back. My real title was Traveling Leadership Consultant, and yes, it is a real job, that was super fun and challenging in a thousand ways.

Anywho...

a. I did NOT know that you could get Francesca's online until like a week ago

b. They just opened one in Virginia Beach! Yay!

As I was perusing the site, I came across this nifty little feature of theirs... 

Baby Bumps!

How fun is this? They feature their baby bump friendly outfits all in one place! Love.

So, since I indulge in retail therapy, I ordered this little number.

In the Red Dress

I am thinking it will look fab in San Antonio (or anywhere), can be worn as a skirt or a dress (in case it is too short over a bump), and best of all, can be worn post pregnancy. Nothing says easy access for breast feeding like a strapless dress - ha.

27 weeks, 5 days pregnant

...and I LOVE non-maternity clothes that can be worn while pregnant. 

17 weeks

Nausea

None. YAY. Shhh. Be quiet about it though. It might hear you and come back.

Skin
Better, still not very glow-y. COME ON FRESHLY FALLEN DEW LOOK. You are the only thing that will get me through winter.

Weight/Clothes
Feeling good, actually. I was feeling pretty little until I went to recruitment for a chapter I supervise this last weekend and heard all the girls comments. LOL, I guess it is super obvious that I am knocked up to everyone now! Yay for not just looking chubby.

Cravings/Aversions
EH, you know, here and there. Really this whole "one caffeinated beverage" thing a day is REALLY hitting me much harder this time around. That one o'clock nap time is still looking good to me on most days, which equals getting nothing done. WHOMPS.

Cramps/Pain

Oooooh streching. Boo, go away. Come on uterus and muscles and stuff, shouldn't you remember this from last time? Actually I guess it's a good thing because it means stuff snapped back to where it was and all, but boo. Sciatic pain also, LAMESAUCE.

Sleeping
Pretty good so far, had had some reminiscent RLS tingly things when I lay down at night. Husband still thinks I am insane, but has given me some really nice massages lately.

Heartburn
Doing ok actually, shhh. Just like the nausea, don't tell anyone!

The Girls
Hanging out. Not literally. But, you know.

New this time around
We just had the worst, worst, worst Friday ever trying to get to Richmond...and I handled it pretty well in the moment. My first time being stranded pregnant and with a kiddo on the side of the road...story to come...and we did - well, ok.

Oh yeah, this again.
EMOTIONS. I am crying at the drop of a hat these days. Songs, tv, that new GOOGLE COMMERCIAL WITH THE DAD AND DAUGHTER?! STOP IT.

Mental State
Good, I am feeling the itch to start a to-do list. Which means that my energy surge must also be creeping up and that SOON NESTING WILL BE UPON US! HUZZAH!


17 weeks, last go round

Evelyn Rae is 13 months old, I'm 17 weeks along with Baby Ferris

...and I bought that dress from Francesca's last go round as one that they advertised could be worn while pregnant...this pregnancy - it fits!

Nausea

Skin

Pale, but clear! Yay!

Weight/Clothes

Got my maternity clothes back from my dear friend Whitney, but I really haven't been rocking them too much. I am feeling pretty good on the weight gain front actually. KNOCK ON WOOD.

Cravings/Aversions
Um, cravings. This is new. Pickles. (How typical, right?) Cheese and crackers. Really anything with Sharp, sharp, extra sharp cheddar. YUM. And seriously? The other day I wasn't even hungry, we were driving home for lunch, and all I could THINK about was fried chicken. Like to the point where I was salivating. I could not stop thinking about it! SO.WEIRD. Did I end up getting that chicken? Nope. And it still makes me kind of sad. Whomps.

Cramps/Pain

Still in pain. Uterus growing and stretching, ETC. ETC. Painful. Twinges and such. Meh.

Sleeping
Much better, but MAN do I need a Snoogle. Heading to buy one this weekend.

Heartburn

Serious. Business. Argh. Really just when I lay down, so again, more acid reflux. Just like last time. Lameo.

The Girls
Feeling alright, still sensitive, trying to wean baby girl (big post about this coming soon), etc. Oh Boobies. Wearing sports bras, etc at night to help support everything.

Fetal Movement
Feeling baby kick almost every evening now. LOVE IT.

New this time around
Cravings! See above.

Oh yeah, this again.
Acid Reflux. WHOMPS. P.S. Apparently this can happen later thanks to all this reflux. LAME.

Mental State
Feeling, whelp, great actually. We have had an awesome week, minus the internet situation, but then again maybe this has helped spurn our awesome week, Morning walks every morning, playground every day - girl loves some swings - and evening walks with Daddy. Plus, activities! Getting out, enjoying the weather, taking walks up and down the block holding a little girl's hand. Life is good.
